Our mission is to close the racial and gender opportunity gap by empowering diverse founders to pursue entrepreneurship while providing resources and support to increase their odds of success.
What Makes Us Different
The Journey Venture Studio will provide underrepresented founders with targeted resources, access to capital, and culturally-competent mentorship and programming, creating a destination for the next generation of talented minority and female entrepreneurs by transforming the founder journey.

Empowering underrepresented founders
While talent is equally distributed, opportunity is not. Systemic inequity in the startup and venture spaces is a disservice to all of us. The failure to invest in diverse entrepreneurship is hurting individual founders, societal economic growth, and our country’s future.
We believe that diversity is the business world’s greatest untapped asset. By empowering talented female and minority founders, we are removing systemic inequalities that would otherwise stand in their way and limit their potential.
A new model for equity in venture
The Journey Venture Studio is an independent, 501(c)3 not-for-profit operating company that includes a culturally-competent venture studio and community hub for underrepresented founders in Phoenix, Arizona.
